North New Braunfels St. between Austin Hwy and Burr Road could possibly be the worst street in San Antonio, Texas.
"Mined" with pot holes and cracks, the street has been like this for at least 5 years. Recently the City of San Antonio fixed a small portion between the Botanical gardens from Funston Pl. north to about Queen Anne, even adding sidewalks. But as of today, almost a mile long of the street remains unattended.

N. New Braunfels joins San Antonio and affluent Alamo Heights properties. Why is it not being fixed? Where are all property taxes monies going to? Is it true there's a dispute as to who should pay for the repairs? San Antonio or Alamo Heights?
Meanwhile residents are having to deal with this, affecting traffic, damaging vehicles, and making it practicably a "use it at your own risk" street. The lack of sidewalks and markings also represent a danger to pedestrians and bicycles. When it rains it turns into a foot high river where you don't know how deep the hole is under that water.
AlamoCityTimes.com would like to investigate the issue, and present background information and community feedback resulting into a Multimedia report to encourage action and responsibility to resolve this issue. The street links one of San Antonio's most affluent communities, high in property taxes and adjacent to Ft. Sam Houston.
