Today colleges across the country start recruitng.
Despite the recent changes in the USC football program, Wednesday apparently was a very good day for the Trojans.
Experts gave USC high marks for its performance on National Signing Day, when new coach Lane Kiffin received letters of intent to attend the school from 18 players, included four rated as five-star. In addition, two others have given verbal commitments but did not sign letters of intent.
Rivals.com tentatively ranked USC's incoming class as top in the nation, while ESPN's scouting arm ranked it seventh.
In the Top 10 on both lists were Tennessee, the school Kiffin left last month after one year as its head coach, and crosstown rival UCLA.
