The nation's of the world will be coming together in South Africa from Novemebr 28 to December 9 to continue negotiations on tackling climate change. Will COP 17 in Durban be a tipping point in the UN negotiation process on climate change? Will Government leaders build on the progress achieved at COP 16 in Cancun and act to prevent runaway climate change, or will they allow short-term national interests to set us on a path towards a 3° - 4°C warming world? These are some of the questions being asked as the world awaits the latest round of Climate talks. This reporter will be there and is looking for funds to support daily podcasts, videos on the negotiations, the alternative climate summit, and the protests.

The path our leaders choose will be critical as they meet on African soil – a continent particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. Durban is the last real opportunity for countries to provide certainty on a future climate plan.
